Document Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and organizing company documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in document management systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges.

- Maintains document registries.
- Receives, stamps, dates, and logs drawings and distributes them to appropriate personnel.
- Creates and sends transmittals to clients and subcontractors.
- Ensures all superseded drawings and documents are removed from service.
- Assists in the maintenance of as-built drawings.
- Supports the construction and quality teams with document requests.
- Assists in the creation, organization, and filing of turnover documentation.
- Managing document distribution to subcontractors for tendering purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Architectural Technologist Diploma or Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma
- 1-2 years experience working with document management software and having completed as-built drawings in Bluebeam or Adobe Pro.
- Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
