We are looking for a team of seasonal shop assitants to help us during our busy holiday season. Saesonal shop assitants have potential to stay on in the new year as part time employees.

Location-Based Position, Not Remote/Work from Home. Applicants Must Have a Valid Driver's License and Their Own Transportation.

**About Sad Nuggie**:
Sad Nuggie is a stressed, depressed chicken nugget, always teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown. This crispy little nuggie has garnered billions of online views through relatable video and comic content, offering much-needed smiles, laughs, and fostering community support and mental health awareness. Since it’s beginning in August 2022, Sad Nuggie has evolved into a viral online brand and shop, expanding its product line from 20 sticker designs to over 500 designs, including plushies, books, apparel, accessories, home décor, and more

**Opportunity**:
Tasks may include, but are not limited to: sorting orders, pulling products for orders, packing orders, preparing packaging, quality checking products, inventory management, stuffing pillows, folding apparel, assisting with heat pressing, aiding in TikTok live feeds and live shop events, loading and unpacking new stock, organizing and sorting, breaking down boxes, and maintaining cleanliness in the shop and product area, greating customers, informing customers of product and the company, operating cash register and accurately handling transactions, handling returns and exchanges.

- Ability to perform small, detailed tasks with precision and dexterity.
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Problem-solving abilities, always seeking efficient methods without compromising quality.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Quick learning aptitude, able to grasp processes and familiarize oneself with a vast product line.
- Flexibility to adapt and switch tasks or plans as required.

**Relevant Skills**:

- Heat pressing (DTF, Sublimation, patches for apparel/items).
- Inventory management.
- Square POS systems.
- Customer service (retail/vendor).
- Creating displays.
- Accurate fulfillment of complex orders.
- Proficiency in TikTok and Instagram (Stories/Reels/Live).
- Quality control.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to perform repetitive tasks with hands.
- Acuity to see very small objects and read small print.
- Capability to assist in loading boxes/equipment up to 40 lbs. (infrequent/short distances).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strathroy-Caradoc, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
