**Job Description**:
On the Procurement team, we help Shopify scale, while implementing best practices and balancing Shopify’s unique cultural requirements. Procurement involves the process of selecting vendors, strategic vetting, the negotiation of contracts, and actual purchasing of goods.

Procurement Operations at Shopify is a high-performing team that is both finance and process driven with high energy, passion, and analytical thinking. We enhance compliance and agility, mitigate risks, enable strategic procurement, and implement Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology across Shopify. We hold strong partnerships within the Shopify Finance team as well as other key stakeholders across multiple departments and external suppliers. Our day-to-day is about improving efficiency and harmonizing a broad range of spend-related processes to maximize the overall business value. You will be a point-of-contact for Procurement Operations and S2P software support across Shopify.

We are looking to add a **Procurement Operations Specialist** to join our team. As Shopify is a growing and dynamic company, the scope of this role would evolve and expand beyond how we think of it today. **Responsibilities and projects you will work on**:
**Procurement Support**:

- Provide operational support for existing Source-to-Pay system (S2P Coupa) instances across Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Procurement teams
- Support contract compliance for key categories of spend and suppliers
- Provide additional support in the end-user training and onboarding process
- Maintain and enhance the existing processes and configuration documentation of SaaS implementation
- Support procurement-related administrative functions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create workflow processes and standards documentation for departmental work instructions, including documents for internal and external parties
- Manage the procurement calendar & NetSuite Vendor records (Procurement only)

**Vendor Management & Reporting**:

- Create requisitions and purchase orders, and manage the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, including product and service delivery to meet the internal accounts payable run schedules
- Perform vendor due diligence and run management reports to help the internal team’s monthly reporting process by utilizing metrics and external alerts
- Help and support the creation of Procurement Dashboard in relation to vendor risk, cost, renewals, and exec summary
- Source, integrate, and create B2B PunchOut and Catalog solutions on the internal Source-to-Pay system (Coupa)
- Receive deliveries and confirm the accuracy of vendor invoicing to purchase order, and resolve any issues that arise
- Collaborate with the procurement team and internal end-users to monitor vendor registration
- Assist in budgeting structure (Coupa module) for end-users on the internal Source-to-Pay system (Coupa)
- Resolve payment issues with vendors and internal Accounts Payable (AP) team
- Keep track of and update vendor contracts, working closely with the Legal team

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication skills
- A recognized university degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience within technology, FinTech or SaaS industries preferred
- Multitasking, strong analytical and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently as needed
- You have demonstrated strong systems thinking in your past roles
