Program Delivery- Directs the management and delivery of Saskatchewan’s driver education and training programs (i.e. Class 1 Mandatory Entry Level Training Program, Class 5 high school and adult driver education programs, motorcycle training program, remedial programs, etc.), policies and procedures.- Leads licensing, regulation and monitoring of driver instructors and driver training schools.- Oversees development, implementation and maintenance of new/improved driver education and training programs, policies, procedures, curriculum and driver handbook print material to align with legislative changes and/or corporate objectives.- Oversees the audit and oversight of driver educators, driver training schools and training programs.- Directs the management and delivery of Driver Improvement Training (a provincial driver control and remedial program).- Leads tracking and reporting on customer satisfaction; incorporates customer feedback into program development and support.- Collaborates with Corporate Auto Fund to design, develop, implement and maintain key departmental/divisional metrics and related reporting.- Creates, coordinates and/or reviews reporting for the division, the executive, Crown Investments Corporation, the Minister's office and/or other business partners and agencies.- Collaborates with internal business partners to review and recommend responses to media inquiries and escalated government level and customer inquiries.

Funding & Contract Review and Management- Directs the management and administration of high school driver education/SGI funding agreements for public, qualified independent and First Nations high schools.- Collaborates with Corporate Auto Fund on the contract management and vendor relationship for the online Class 1 entry level training program.- Directs the annual reconciliation of driver education funding provided by SGI.- Oversees the audit and oversight of high school driver education funding.

Program/Policy Development and Support)- Provides strategic advice to leadership on changes to legislation, driver education and training related issues and/or projects.- Directs research of emerging trends, analysis and interpretation of driver and traffic safety related data to identify gaps and recommend program/policy improvements.- Performs financial analysis, including preparing cost-benefit matrixes and monitoring program costs.- Assesses the privacy impact of programs and policies and prepares privacy impact assessments.- Collaborates with Corporate Auto Fund and Legal in preparing materials to support legislative and regulatory amendments- Manages projects, i.e. assists with preparation of risk assessments, collaborates in developing change management strategies, implementing and supporting program/policy changes, and collaborates with Corporate Auto Fund on leading continuous process improvement.- Participates in national level working groups to aid the development of national standards.

Relationship Management- Oversees relationship management with key business partners such as provincial/qualified independent school divisions, First Nations schools, certified driver educators, Saskatchewan Driver Educators Association, etc.- Liaises/consults with federal and provincial governments, non-governmental organizations, interest groups and internal departments on driver education and training.- Partners with external agencies in delivery of compliance initiatives, products and services to customers (driver training schools, Mandatory Entry-Level Training Advisory Committee, Ministry of Highways, Saskatchewan Trucking Association, Saskatchewan Driver Educator Association, Ministry of Education, Saskatchewan School Board Association).- Solicits partner information and feedback to initiate and recommend new or improved divisional/corporate policies and procedures.- Collaborates with external agencies to provide resources, leadership and co-ordination for initiatives focused on improving traffic safety, including reviewing the effectiveness of existing programs.- Surveys Canadian jurisdictions, soliciting partner information and feedback to initiate and recommend new or improved divisional/corporate policies and procedures.- Consults with external agencies, Canadian jurisdictions and other stakeholders to assess impacts of proposed business changes, including participation in public consultations.-
