**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director, Advancement Services the Gifts and Database Coordinator will coordinate the collection and integrity of constituent data, and gift administration and receipting in accordance with the Income Tax Act. This role also has significant responsibility for training on Banner Advancement and supervises the work of part-time student Gifts and Database staff.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
This position also requires that the incumbent work independently, multitask and manage projects to strict deadlines enforced by the university and external bodies including CRA and the Ministry of Training and Education. Accuracy and strict attention to detail are essential., in particular in adherence to proper cash handling policies and in data entry.

**Education and Experience**:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

- Two-year Diploma, preferably in business or accounting.
- Four years of progressively more responsible experience in a donor-focused environment, preferably in an educational institution, with a background in Gifts Administration and databases, preferably Banner Advancement.
