Carpentry Project Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Study blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications
- Calculate the amount and type of materials needed
- Use measuring tools to prepare layouts
- Ensure layouts meet building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring and put up walls and roof systems
- Build footings and molds for concrete
- Fit and install doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
- Manage all aspects of carpentry projects from planning to completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the carpentry field
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong leadership and communication skills
