- Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the HR Analyst will examine HR data to identify key trends and present options to aid management in making key business decisions. They will provide HR support in HRIS, intranet and training administration, and lead our annual field compensation review process.
This position requires you to work out of our Head Office a minimum three (3) days a week.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Reporting**
- Assist with the development, reporting, and review of HR metrics and insights by producing standard monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end HR reports and creating ad hoc reports as required.
- Establish internal and external reporting processes ensuring data integrity, consistency and compliance with industry best-practices.
- Determine requirements for reporting and analytics; assess how to leverage data from various people and systems to develop standard reports and effective use of people data.
- Assist department in developing procedures.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity.

**HRIS & LMS**
- Assist in the configuration and updating of HRIS (Ceridian) and LMS (Bridge).
- Research and resolve HRIS and LMS issues, performing scheduled tests, audits and reporting results.
- Train employees on new processes/functionality, and develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
- Maintain functionality and documentation of the employee intranet.

**Field Compensation & Benefits**
- Lead the annual salary review cycle, including the coordination, reporting and communication of compensation recommendations.
- Gather data from HRIS and display it in an easy to read Excel document
- Merge Total Compensation Statement letters for 650 employees
- Coordinate participation in annual compensation market surveys, compile data and develop analysis to assess and monitor the competitive landscape.
- Develop automated tools and macros to streamline compensation processes.
- Participate in the management of the benefits administration, monthly reporting and rate changes.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. vlookup, macros, IF statements, pivot tables) with a strong analytical ability.
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset.
- Experienced at extracting data, creating queries, developing complex reports and providing detailed analysis.
- Knowledge of data models, table layouts and design concepts for reporting and data analysis is desirable.
- Ability to think strategically and innovatively.
- High degree of confidentiality and professional judgment.
- Maintain a good rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Possess project management and critical thinking skills, sound business judgment with the ability to coordinate and prioritize competing work assignments and deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated taking initiative on tasks and projects.
