Job description

Optimum Equipment Solutions is growing, and we are ecstatic to be adding to our team.

Optimum Equipment Solutions is a rapidly growing heavy equipment rental and used sales company delivering only the top name brands, John Deere, CAT, Komatsu, and more. We offer one of the largest fleets in western Canada.

We are actively seeking an experienced Sales Development Rep for the Calgary area to build and develop relationships with prospective customers.

**What you’ll do as a Sales Development Rep**:

- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Rent and sell heavy equipment
- Travel to your customers to aid in building a stronger relationship
- Ensure all rental and sales documents are completed, consistently and accurately.
- Work with the sales team to produce accurate timelines and quotations for the customer
- Act as a customer representative for Optimum Equipment Solutions as the main point of contact between your customer and Optimum Equipment Solutions
- Active Drivers license
- Proficient with a computer
- Flexible work schedule, answering evening and weekend phone calls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with a team
- Sales experience is an asset
- Knowledge in the construction industry (oilfield, civil, logging, pipeline) is an asset
