**Position Summary**

The Managing Partner is responsible for day to day operations of the branch, leading and supervising a staff committed to service excellence and ensuring sales of products contribute positively to the profitability of the organization, while ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and policies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- monitor branch, and department activities to ensure that quality service is being provided and that work flows effectively and efficiently.
- mentor, coach and develop staff to ensure objectives are achieved and clients receive a consistent level of quality, personalized service.
- establish performance standards, evaluate performance and if necessary initiate further training and development or disciplinary procedures.
- act as an ambassador for Brio/Interlake Insurance by being visible in the community and supporting community initiatives, soliciting business opportunities that add positively to the profitability of the credit union.
- maintain a thorough knowledge of industry and competitive trends that affect business plans and encourage this knowledge in employees.

**Essential Qualifications**
- must hold a valid Level 3 General Agent License in the province of Manitoba
- post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- leadership competency with high emphasis on quality of customer service
- advanced knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
- ability to develop employees in a coaching environment
- strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner

This position would over see both the Brio Steinbach and La Broquerie branches.
