**The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce Seeks a Financial Administrator**

**The Opportunity**

The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce, a cornerstone organization dedicated to uniting and representing Steinbach and area businesses, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our growing team. Committed to the belief that economic prosperity enhances the community's overall well-being, the Chamber fosters leadership in regional growth and connection. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the Chamber's financial health and stability.

**Responsibilities**
- **Financial Management**: Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll processing, accounts receivable and payable management, and comprehensive budgeting.
- **Strategic Analysis**: Partner with leadership to plan, execute, and manage a broad spectrum of accounting, financial reporting, and budgetary functions.
- **Financial Accuracy**: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial documents and transactions, fostering data integrity and reliable reporting.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Develop and maintain effective budget plans, analyze expenditures and investments for optimal resource allocation, and manage cash flow efficiently.
- **Reporting and Transparency**: Generate insightful financial reports to keep Management and the Board of Directors informed on the Chamber's financial health and strategic direction.
- **Grant Management**: Support in forecasting grant opportunities and preparing comprehensive grant reports that maximize success.
- **Onboarding Specialist**: Facilitate the smooth integration of new employees by handling IT setup, payroll enrollment, and health benefits administration.
- **Administrative Excellence**: Demonstrate a proactive approach to fulfilling additional administrative duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- **Academic Background**: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field is essential. Prior experience in a similar role is a valuable asset.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication, attention to detail, interpersonal, and presentation skills are crucial for effective collaboration and clear reporting. A strong analytical mind and critical thinking are essential for problem-solving and sound financial decision making.
