Mountain West Studios is looking for a Full-time IT Assistant.

**Direct Reports**: IT Manager

**Position Summary**: This position is responsible for assisting the IT Manager with the tech needs of the business.

This multi-talented individual will learn, test, implement and measure the success of the implementation of an ERP package, that includes CRM and HRMS.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with IT operations, troubleshooting and problem-solving as required.
- Delegate tasks to promote knowledge transfer and ensure operational demands are met efficiently.
- Problem solve, provide expert support and act as an internal resource as required.
- Enhance technology solutions, including recommending emerging technologies that would be beneficial.
- Adhere to policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and recommend changes when needed, to maintain performance standards.
- Assist with website maintenance and IT infrastructure (ERP, CRM), and company network and file storage system
- Trouble-shoot escalated issues re: help desk, printers, phones, computers, etc.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Skilled in organizational development.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role.
- Post-secondary degree in business, or Computer Science or a related discipline an asset but not required.

**Required IT Experience**:

- Database Management experience
- Programming experience using Java, HTML, Python; experience with Frappe would be an asset.
- Familiar with Open Source solutions and software testing and configuration.
- Well-versed in process mapping, including production workflows, using process mapping software.
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent) skills.

**Work Environment**:

- Hours of work may vary with extra hours required for key cyclical deliverables.
- At times, stressful environment meeting tight timelines and/or resolving key problems.
- 9 hour days during probationary and training period; on-call for emergencies and irregular repairs and maintenance which may be during weekends or holidays, up to 8 days per year.
