Bouygues Energies & Services, a leading provider of Facility Management services across Canada, is seeking a temporary (1-year maternity leave contract) **Operations Administrator** to provide administrative, operational and human resources support to the facility management team at the **Winnipeg Airport**.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Operations Administrator provides a range of support services for the Airport Operations Centre (AOC), Baggage Operations Centre (BOC) and Pass Office. This person will participate in full-cycle recruitment, organize and facilitate employee orientation and training workshops, participate in the creation of effective policies and procedures and investigate and respond to issues brought forward by our employees and the client.

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. The ideal start date is mid-late October. - At least 2 to 3 years of progressive administrative experience;
- Exposure to human resources functions, particularly in the area of recruitment, scheduling and training;
- A diploma or degree in business administration, human resources or a related field;
- Experience working with, leading or supervising unionized employees;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop solid relationships with employees, other departments, business partners and stakeholders;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software or systems quickly.

**Other key responsibilities include**:

- Support the creation of job descriptions, interviews questions and evaluations;
- Ensure required new hire documents and forms are completed;
- Work with Managers to determine job-specific training needs and design and deliver workshops to employees;
- Coordinate meetings, document discussion and action items, develop and circulate agendas and minutes;
- Prepare presentations and reports;
- Develop and maintain policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions and other materials in support of operations;
- Prepare coaching documents for Managers and escalate serious performance management concerns;
- Process employee time-off and availability changes;
- Support payroll functions by coordinating and entering employee schedules in to the payroll system (Ceridian/Dayforce);
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of contract service requirements;
- Coordinate activities to support high employee engagement and a positive workplace;
- Maintain knowledge of legislation, such as employment standards and best practices.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
