Marketing Manager

**Responsibilities**:
Develops, promotes and implements marketing plans to ensure optimal occupancy is achieved for the home.
Develops marketing strategy and prepares advertising campaigns.
Conducts tours; provides information to the general public and community organizations; and follows up on leads in a timely manner.
Develops and fosters partnerships within the community.
Leasing of the rental units in the retirement home.
Encouraging outside groups to use community for marketing purposes.
Orients new residents to ensure a smooth transition to the home.
Participates in all public relations events.
Participates as a member of the work team and provides support to the other members of the team.
Forecasting, monitoring, and approving expenditures from funds allocated to the budget.
Reports to the Executive Director
**Requirements**:
Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations.
Must be willing to work the hours necessary to ensure the effective operation of the home.
Must have previous sales experience.
Must have experience in customer service.
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalency.
Must demonstrate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Experienced in the creation of advertising strategies is an asset.
Experience with seniors is an asset.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have flexible work hour with availability on weekends.

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
