**Job Title**

Associate, FX Currency Hedging Execution

**What is the opportunity?**

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of passive currency hedging programs for RBC IS clients. This is an important and responsible role within a revenue generating global FX business line.

**What will you do?**
- Being fully autonomous in the administration of currency hedging programs for RBC IS clients
- Being fully autonomous as FX Market Trader in daily management of market books capturing the COS activity and ensure it always complies with risk guidelines set by Group Risk
- Ability to perform, product performance analysis, client reporting, support for new product launches, new system implementation and delivery.
- Working end to end from data requirements, analysis, trade execution, booking, fund accounting, transfer agency, settlement and custody.
- Assist in identifying and implementing programs for continuous operating process, product enhancement and risk mitigating improvements.
- Risk management mindset oriented through credit limit monitoring and pro-actively requesting credit limit for compliance and avoid breaches
- Working under tight timelines, pressure and within ever changing fast-paced environment
- Assist in design, validate and maintain detailed business processes and procedures documentation.
- Perform Ad Hoc analysis as required to support business goals, client requirements and project deliverables
- Periodic and Ad Hoc Client profiling and reporting
- Ensuring that client confidentiality is maintained and continuous education and improvement of RBC I&TS currency hedging brand profile in the marketplace

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-**have**
- Proven strong experience in Microsoft Access combined with VBA programming skills. Fluent in MS Office.
- 5 years' work experience in Financial Services, including 2 years FX Financial Markets experience with proven detailed understanding of FX instruments and their associated Spot & Swap risks
- Bloomberg, FXAll, and other trading room tools and systems.
- Positive and constructive mindset at the service of teamwork and collective co-operation, and able to effectively communicate with internal and external parties
- Risk Management oriented
