Service Technician

Calgary, Canada Eco Residental Roofs & Commerical Shelters Inc Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro mechanical equipment.
- Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts.
- Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.
- Weld or braze components.
- Wind, assemble and install various types of coils.
- Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts.
- Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
- Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.

**Requirements**:

- Specialized in Electric motors, Transformers, Switchgears, Industrial motors, Rotors, Shafts, Bearings, Coils, Armatures, Generators, Switches
- Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification or Motor Winder Trade Certification

Full-Time position 40 hours/week.

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-07-01
