**Position Description**

The Health & Safety Coordinator oversees all aspects of Health and Safety and conducts the annual COR® audit.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Certified member of the JHSC and chairs meetings.
- Manage the organization’s Occupational Health and Safety Program, working with Senior Management.
- Ensures the organization is compliant with all the COR® requirements and maintains COR® status.
- Prepares all site-specific plans for installation projects and conducts site visits periodically.
- Conducts monthly health and safety talks with all Departments.
- Reviews and maintains hazard assessments, safe work practices/procedures; investigates all incidents and accidents; maintains database of workers and subcontractors background checks.
- Conducts internal audit yearly and submits findings through eCompliance.

**Qualifications**

Qualifications include:

- University Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with Health and Safety duties.
- Strong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, and business acumen.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
- Above average communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships quickly.

**Working conditions**

Position requires traveling to jobsites periodically. Fast paced working environment.
