As a Design Sales Consultant, you'll play a vital role in securing sales, managing projects, and fostering client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales**:

- Create and manage the MGB Construction Welcome Kit and pre-contract information for distribution.
- Schedule and attend client appointments, ensuring punctuality and professional attire.
- Provide clients with company information, presentations, and materials.
- Maintain organized documentation and folders for clients to prevent redundancy.
- Operate within the company's policies and values, aligning with our vision statement.
- Obtain quotes for products and materials, establishing accurate pricing for selections.
- Continuously update binders and pipelines in real-time, including meeting notes and job photos.
- Ensure consistency between verbal promises and written agreements.
- Review detailed specifications and proposals, covering all aspects before client submittals.
- Follow up with clients throughout the sales process until contracts are signed and deposits received.
- Complete construction drawings and product selection sheets, obtaining client approval.
- Facilitate the sales handoff to Production Manager, Lead Carpenter, and clients.
- Conduct project reviews for punch work upon project completion.
- Resolve interpretation issues of plans/specifications with production and clients within 24 hours.
- Conduct follow-up calls with potential and existing clients, nurturing client relationships.
- Attend continuing education seminars and stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Lead weekly sales meetings, taking ownership of meeting notes and improvements.
- Assist in achieving sales targets for 2024 and 2025 and generate leads for the pipeline.
- Participate in layout and design work as directed.
- Engage in marketing tasks, including seminars and meetings.

**Design**:

- Evaluate client needs, project compatibility, and provide ballpark project prices.
- Identify client motivations for remodeling and design-build solutions.
- Establish proper budgets and collect design fees.
- Schedule design contract signings, collect deposits, and gather project details.
- Create concept drawings and preliminary proposals for construction cost evaluation.
- Present preliminary proposals and finalize project details, including product selections and subcontractor quotes.
- Provide necessary drawings throughout the project, from sketches to final construction plans.
- Order specialty materials and review invoices for accuracy.
- Prepare change orders and handle material procurement.
- Organize all sales and production communication for handoff to the Office Manager, Production Manager, and clients.
- Manage the MGB Construction Showroom, keeping it current and professional.
- Participate in daily huddles and work flexible hours during peak times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in design and sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in design software/tools is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
