**General Position Summary**

JVK is a national leader in the distribution of Greenhouse supplies and young plants to Canadian Growers. Achieve sales and margin growth each year in a Sales Territory for JVK by being the first choice of customers in your territory based on customer service, product expertise, breadth of offering and business acumen to assist customers in meeting their long-term business goals.

**Essential Functions**
- Present and sell all company products to new and existing customers to ensure growth within designated territory.
- Prospect, qualify, and contact potential customers while working with the office staff to find ways to service, increase sales revenue, improve margin, and grow number of accounts.
- Close sales and ensure customers’ orders are entered and needs are met to guarantee a strong customer experience.
- Establish a consultative relationship with customers using the resources provided by JVK to ensure we are doing what is best for the customer in all aspects of their business.
- Provide sales leadership with market insights when requested, or when you become aware, to keep JVK updated on regional or industry changes.
- As a remote employee, be able to maintain home office and prioritize workload in an independent manner while being on the road a 75% of the time visiting JVK customers.
- Complete all requested sales/market analysis, account plans, market insight request, etc. on time, in full and with quality information.
- Attend regional industry events and sales training as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Horticulture or related field highly desired
- 1 year of sales or customer service experience in B2B and/or horticulture.
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office OS or related products required.
- Highly data driven to uncover opportunities and challenges.
- Independent contributor, highly organized with strong business acumen.

**Other Qualifications**

A JVK Territory Manager should be able to work productively and collaboratively with internal support staff allowing the maximize time with customers. In addition, JVK Territory Managers must be solutions-driven and positive in all interactions.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
