Acoustic Panels Canada (APC) is a family-owned and -operated business headquartered in Mississauga, ON. We are an online retailer of our own Canadian-made Acoustic Panels shipped direct to customers across Canada.

We will train you on our product

The Sales Specialist at APC is directly responsible for managing inbound warm lead sales generated through our robust online presence. We are looking to find an energetic and passionate team member who will manage the sales lifecycle from initial customer contact to order fulfillment, qualifying business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers.

Recent graduates with retail sales experience or customer service experience welcome.

**Essential Functions**
- Qualify leads and prioritize sales opportunities
- Prepare estimates, close sales, and input orders into production pipeline
- Arrange shipping for outgoing orders
- Conduct in-person and virtual consultations with customers
- Review pictures, diagrams, and floor plans, to determine customer needs
- Provide product demos
- Send out product and sales packages
- Perform follow-up calls
- Promote company products and solutions to new and existing customers
- Set reasonable production and order fulfilment expectations with customers
- Work collaboratively with Production Manager to ensure visibility to sales pipeline and future production requirements
- Fact finding, follow-ups, identifying customers’ needs, presenting and demonstrating solutions, and overcoming objections
- Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving and determine solutions that accommodate customer needs
- Build and maintain inventory of samples and promotional items/products

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Sales Account Management, or similar role
- The technical aptitude to learn and master our product offering
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to establish and cultivate interpersonal relationships both internally and externally
- Strong familiarity in Office365 & virtual/online collaboration tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
- Drivers license & vehicle

**Compensation**

Salary up to $45k.

Compensation structure of solid base salary based on uncomplicated sales cycle, high percentage of sales coming from closing warm inbound leads.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $45,000.00 per year
