As **Inventory Controller, **you will be responsible for the day-to-day shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities in a unique, high-tech manufacturing environment. You must be capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders alike. This hands-on role requires an individual who can work independently while providing a high degree of service for the teams they support. This role requires an individual who can operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

We are expanding our manufacturing operations. This position is for **Friday to Sunday, with three (3) 12-hour days.**

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

12 hours per day, starting at 6:00 am

**The Responsibilities, include but not limited to**:

- Execute plans to optimize material and product flow within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
- Manage the cladding inventory, including window box flashing and other parts required for assembly.
- Collaborate with production teams to provide timely material support, ensuring correct labelling and easy accessibility on the production floor.
- Manage storage locations in manufacturing facilities for optimal space utilization and material accessibility. Maintain the inventory for the workstations, refilling parts and keeping them tidy and organized.
- Monitor material condition and quality in storage, ensuring adherence to required standards and proper labelling.
- Implement effective inventory control practices, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and regular audits. Proactively monitor inventory levels and reorder any shortages, damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of inventory and shipments, using business information systems, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with production teams and supply chain to identify areas for process improvement within the material movement and inventory management functions, to identify opportunities for process improvement, eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and warehouse
- Comply with all health and safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute actively to team efforts, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Adhere to administrative policies and procedures as updated periodically.
- Complete other duties as requested which are consistent with your abilities and responsibilities.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent

**Nice to Haves, but can be certified on the job if needed**:

- Class I forklift license
- Level 1 or 2 Occupational First Aid certification
- WHIMS

**Skills & Experience, Required**:

- 2+ years of experience in inventory control and shipping & receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability to use hand & power tools.
- Basic computer literacy (online ordering, shipping, receiving)
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques.
- Willingness to practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions.
- Able to follow instructions and complete work tasks on schedule with clear timelines.
- Experience in labelling, packaging, and proficiency in quality control checks.
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Desire to learn new skills and processes.

**Important to Mention**:

- Must provide your own CSA-approved 6” safety footwear, required.
- Certain job tasks will require you to be clean-shaven and wear a fit-tested respirator or N95 mask
- Proof of ability to remain and work in Canada.

We expect the hourly pay for this position to be between $26 and $28.
