We're looking for our first** Procurement & Vendor Manager** to join our Finance team. Reporting to the VP, Finance you'll be managing tracking, documentation, negotiation and procurement of both hardware and software systems.

**A day in the life as Procurement & Vendor Manager**:

- Manage relationships with our vendors and hardware suppliers
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their systems needs
- Take a proactive and well-documented approach to vendor/contract lifecycle management to maximize value and efficiency
- Perform regular reviews of existing contracts; track deadlines, validate and approve spending, research alternatives, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Facilitate contract negotiations and structure deals with new and existing vendors
- Communicate relevant contract details to key stakeholders as required

**In the first 6 months, you'll be successful at reaching these milestones**:

- Establish and document a standardized procurement and vendor/contract management process based on best practices
- Establish efficient demand forecast processes, enabling on-time delivery of hardware to customers
- Research, identify, and implement a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool

- I have experience with contract lifecycle management tools & processes
- I have proven experience establishing and maturing processes with a focus on operational efficiency
- I'm exceptional at building relationships and am a skilled negotiator
- I am able to work autonomously
- I have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- I'm willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA
- I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate
- I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills
