Alteo is looking for a Level 2 IT Technician for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your primary role will be to provide technical support to internal end users. A key element of the role involves handling technical issues and requests. You will field questions, log and work high-priority issues, meet with end users regularly, and handle critical issues while working with the extended IT team. The goal is to ensure that you can anticipate and avoid issues, identify and mitigate against risk. You will also coordinate the support involvement with system and network administrators, lead training and develop documentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the second point of contact for problems relating to technical issues
- Provide timely response/resolution to technical and product inquiries
- Troubleshoot/qualify cases before advancing it the infrastructure team and collaborate on overall engagement between Support and IT
- Maintain troubleshooting and monitoring tools
- Own high priority and escalated technical issues
- Improve documentation (knowledge base articles, white papers, forum participation, etc.)
- Provide enablement to help reduce critical issues

**Profile**:

- College degree in IT or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in IT
- Advanced knowledge of Win10, OSX, Windows Servers, and VMware
- Experience using or supporting Azure and MS365
- Experience with Intune, SharePoint and Teams
- Cisco infrastructure support and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to solve problems while ensuring customer satisfaction systematically and effectively within stated service-level goals
- Ability to think “out-of-the-box" to creatively resolve advanced development problems
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrating a genuine interest and passion to learn and grow
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct and develop the ability to interact with customers and vendors
- Be punctual, analytical and possess good communication skills
- Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken

Alteo recherche un Technicien informatique N2 pour un poste permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera de fournir un support technique aux utilisateurs finaux internes. Un élément clé du rôle consiste à traiter les questions et les demandes techniques. Vous répondrez aux questions, enregistrerez et travaillerez sur des problèmes hautement prioritaires, rencontrerez régulièrement les utilisateurs finaux et traiterez les problèmes critiques en collaboration avec l'équipe informatique élargie. L'objectif est de faire en sorte que vous puissiez anticiper et éviter les problèmes, identifier et atténuer les risques. Vous coordonnerez également l'implication du support avec les administrateurs système et réseau, vous dirigerez la formation et développerez la documentation.

Responsabilités:

- Être le deuxième point de contact pour les problèmes liés aux questions techniques.
- Fournir une réponse/résolution rapide aux demandes de renseignements techniques et sur les produits.
- Dépanner/qualifier les cas avant de les transmettre à l'équipe d'infrastructure et collaborer à l'engagement global entre le support et l'informatique.
- Maintenir les outils de dépannage et de surveillance
- Prendre en charge les questions techniques prioritaires et remontées
- Améliorer la documentation (articles de la base de connaissances, livres blancs, participation à des forums, etc.)
- Fournir une assistance pour aider à réduire les problèmes critiques

Profil:

- AEC/DEC en informatique ou équivalent
- 4+ années d'expérience en informatique
- Connaissance avancée de Win10, OSX, Windows Servers et VMware.
- Expérience de l'utilisation ou du support d'Azure et MS365
- Expérience avec Intune, SharePoint et Teams
- Expérience du support et du dépannage de l'infrastructure Cisco
- Capacité à résoudre les problèmes tout en garantissant la satisfaction du client de manière systématique et efficace dans le cadre des objectifs de niveau de service fixés.
- Capacité à sortir des sentiers battus pour résoudre de manière créative des problèmes de développement avancés.
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à établir des priorités.
- Démontrer un véritable intérêt et une passion pour l'apprentissage et le développement.
- Maintenir une apparence et une conduite professionnelles et développer la capacité d'interagir avec les clients et les vendeurs.
- Être ponctuel, analytique et posséder de bonnes capacités de communication
- Bilingue anglais et français, écrit et parlé
