Position: Residential Manager
Location: Ontario (Remote)

This role will communicate and collaborate with the sales organization to ensure promotion of Formica/Fenix brands and products resulting in revenue creation. Support Territory Managers and A&D specialist to increase specifications/sales of Formica/Fenix products. Work with the Marketing organization to develop promotional tools.

The Formica Residential Manager Specialist must be skilled in a multitude of functions, which are detailed below. The magnitude of importance of each function will change depending on the specific needs of individual accounts or depending on Company needs within individual markets. As such, the Residential Manager Specialist is required to maintain the highest level of competence in each area of responsibility.

Residential Manager Specialist General Duties
- Actively owns the relationship development and conflict resolution in territory.
- Lead the product sale and promotion through the Formica Corporation Distribution network and achieve/exceed financial objectives including sales, share, and profitability.
- Identify /capture selling opportunities and understand competitive landscape, inclusive of product and distribution within their area of influence and actively shares these findings appropriately
- Advances Formica’s position in the market through active market presence, share growth initiatives, and motivating distribution Outside Sales Reps.
- Develop and implement an annual channel sales plan to achieve overall and category specific growth for cabinet manufacturers, Kitchen & Bath dealers, multi-family home builders and condominium developers.
- This position also incorporates actively maintaining a training regimen for the residential market base customers on product knowledge and assure awareness of Formica/Fenix brands and products by providing feature & benefits, launches presentations, care & maintenance training.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide solutions to customer needs in a win-win fashion.
- Must be able to present a value proposition and overcome barriers such as price discussion/negotiation to close sales.
- Is aware of all merchandising support materials and programs available from Formica.
- Balances internal relationships with external customer demands.
- Tracks performance numerically and ultimately delivers on the Territory sales plan monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Be invested in local/regional/national professional association such as CKCA, AWMAC and BOMA.
- Act as part of the market team with Territory Managers, A&D Specialist, Region Sales Manager, Inside Sales, Customer Service, distributor reps and distributor A&D reps.

We’re Looking for A Self-Starter Who Meets the Following Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 3 + years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel 50% of the time including overnight travel
- Business to Business (B2B) selling experience preferred
- Prospecting new customer base selling experience preferred
