**CLINIC MANAGER, Part-time**

Canadian Cancer Care and Edmonton Comprehensive Care - a growing multidisciplinary medical clinic located in southcentral Edmonton - is seeking a part-time clinic manager to share duties with our current clinic manager, with the possibility of shifting to full-time hours in the future. The clinic manager will report to, and work collaboratively with, the clinic’s executive team and physicians. She/he will be responsible for coordinating multiple clinics, managing staff and administration, financial reporting, overseeing clinic maintenance, and other day-to-day operations.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and adapt policies and procedures on information privacy, occupational health and safety, standards of practice, infection prevention and control, and other areas of operation, and ensure that these policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Facilitate practice improvement strategies, including patient relations and retention, with member physicians and staff.
- Manage ongoing set up and maintenance of IT equipment software, and complex telephone system.
- Oversee purchasing and regular maintenance of medical equipment and medical supplies, as well as purchasing and cost analysis of office supplies.
- Attend to patient and staff concerns in an effective and respectful manor.
- Hire both medical and non-medical staff as required.
- Manage financial affairs, including AHS, private billings and remittance.
- Oversee clinical and EMR training of new staff and physicians.
- Oversee facility care and maintenance.
- Offer support to other sub-leased tenants.
- Manage payroll and distribution of health benefits.
- Assist with rooming patients, cleaning equipment and rooms, and booking appointments when needed.
- Work with the clinic’s communications advisor to develop marketing material and maintain accuracy of the clinic’s websites and other social media.

**Desired skills**:

- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of, and training in, infection, prevention and control.
- Experience with electronic accounting and payroll software and electronic medical record systems.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s Path-to-Care referral requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of two years’ experience in the health care industry, including the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Post-secondary education or relevant experience in health care management, financial administration or business.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
