**The Opportunity**

As a Product Analyst you will support a product segment with expertise in product/service, market and requirements analyses, and business intelligence and reporting. Conducts complex needs assessments to identify, validate, launch, and scale offerings that create value for external and internal stakeholders, and measures, tracks and reports on progress.

**Status: Casual, Full-time-Union (12 Months)**

**Pay Grade: 16 ($44.17 per hour, 40 hours per week)**

**Reports to: Product Leader**

**As a **Product Analyst **you will**:

- Support development of product segment strategy and roadmap through research, market segmentation and analyses, and support organizational change in service to the strategy and roadmap.
- Identify and validate opportunities for scalable new offerings and improvements to existing offerings to drive behavioral change and create value for external and internal clients. Translate high level requirements for internal stakeholders in ways that make sense to them.
- Collaborate across all departments to identify and build support for optimal product and service solutions that foster client behavioral change.
- Support the Product Leader in providing strategic advice and communication that encourages client behavioral change through more valuable and effective products and services.
- Support the Product Leader with development of pricing, cost analyses, fee consultations and related recommendations to ensure sustainability and drive client behavior change.
- Provide input to reports, presentations, and business cases in support of departmental initiatives.
- Proactively resolve complex product development issues and challenges.
- Conduct research and continuously maintains knowledge and awareness of the product and service design, development and management practices, methods and related industry trends.
- Assist in achieving short and long-term goals for product growth and client retention.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- The required knowledge and skills for the position is typically acquired through a relevant degree (Master’s preferred) with 4-6 years’ experience in product/program development, management, evaluation, and analytical marketing roles.
- Experience conducting data-informed market segmentation and market analyses.
- Experience creating basic financial models and profitability analyses.
- Experience developing processes, standards, analyzing business requirements, developing business plans, and leading business evaluation processes.
- Solid knowledge of product design, development and evaluation concepts, practices, and solutions.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to identify and take action to assess needs, address challenges, and manage change.
- Solid ability to understand and transform user information needs into well-designed and accessible products and services.
- Solid understanding of experimental design, combined with creativity and curiosity to explore innovative solutions.
- Solid business acumen to assess business intelligence requirements and priorities in the context of differing agendas.
- Ability to take initiative and operate proactively.
- Excellent command of the English language and strong writing skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships in stakeholder-rich environments.
- Solid planning skills to develop plans for designated projects and assignments.
- Basic leadership skills to provide day-to-day technical guidance.
