The Reporting Manager position is responsible for the preparation of various financial reporting and analytical activities and provides support during the audit and in budgetary process of the organization.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Participate in the month-end reconciliation and closing process
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and various financial reports and schedules
- Support the annual budgeting process, coordinate, and communicate with operational stakeholders
- Support the annual audit by completing the working paper
- Prepare and file sales tax returns for the organization
- Recommend the improvement of accounting system; coordinate the implementation of the upgrades of accounting system
- Maintain the accounting files for the investments and the capital assets
- Recommend the improvement of internal control and overall financial operating efficiencies
- Assist the Controller as required

**You’ll need to have**
- Post-secondary degree in business or accounting
- CPA designation or at the final stages
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in similar role
- Ability to manage priorities
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Strong communication Skills, in English and French are highly preferred
- Experience in Canada Election Act would be an asset

- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and operational objectives
- Occasional Overtime may be required
- Permanent, Full-time position

Le titulaire du poste de gestionnaire de la production de rapports sera responsable de la préparation de rapports financiers et d’activités analytiques de nature diverse. Il apportera aussi du soutien lors de la vérification et du processus budgétaire du parti.

**Responsabilités**
- Participer au processus de rapprochement et de clôture de fin de mois.
- Préparer les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels ainsi que divers rapports financiers et échéanciers.
- Appuyer le processus budgétaire annuel, assurer la coordination et la communication avec les intervenants opérationnels.
- Appuyer le processus annuel de vérification en remplissant le document de travail.
- Préparer et envoyer les rapports sur la taxe de vente pour le parti.
- Recommander des améliorations à apporter au système de comptabilité; coordonner l’installation des mises à niveau de ce système.
- Tenir à jour les dossiers comptables sur les investissements et les actifs.
- Recommander des améliorations à apporter en ce qui a trait au contrôle interne et à l’efficacité opérationnelle générale sur le plan financier.
- Aider le contrôleur, selon les besoins.

**Compétences requises**
- Diplôme d’études postsecondaires en gestion des affaires ou en comptabilité.
- Désignation de CPA ou en être aux dernières étapes.
- Minimum de deux à quatre années d’expérience à une fonction similaire
- Aptitude à gérer les priorités.
- Maîtrise du logiciel de comptabilité et des logiciels de la suite bureautique Microsoft Offi
