**About Us**:Executive Properties Capital is a group of integrated companies specializing in value-add multi-family property investments. We handle in-house construction, property management, and deal analysis. We are seeking an experienced, part-time After Hours Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role involves responding to emergency service calls after regular business hours to ensure the safety and functionality of our property portfolio.
**Position Overview**:Reporting to the Property Manager and Senior Maintenance Technician, the After Hours Maintenance Technician will be responsible for addressing emergency service calls across our property portfolio. This position involves diagnosing and addressing urgent issues such as flooding, leaks, power/heat loss, and other critical emergencies that require immediate attention.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls received through our communication call service.
- Diagnose issues and perform necessary maintenance, repairs, and construction tasks for emergencies.
- Keep accurate records of tasks performed using Clock Shark.
- Work independently without supervision during after-hours and communicate actions taken to the team during office hours.
**Requirements**:
- Must possess own tools and a reliable vehicle with a fully graduated G - drivers license.
- Criminal background check is required prior to employment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues and determining appropriate solutions or escalations.
- Familiarity with tenant health and safety regulations, including WHMIS, Ontario Building and Fire Codes, Commercial and Residential Tenancies Acts.
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) and experience working with tenants is advantageous.
- Positive attitude with effective communication and collaboration skills.

**Additional Points**:
- Ideally located in or near Hamilton due to property portfolio location, though properties are also in Burlington, St Catharines, and Welland.
- On-call expectation: 2 weeks per month, Monday to Friday from 5:01 pm to 8:59 am, weekends (Friday 5:01 pm to Monday 8:59 am), and holidays.
- Solid understanding of property maintenance, personal vehicle, and tools required.
- Compensation of $50/hour for each call-out, with a minimum of 3 hours' pay guaranteed per call-out.
