**What is the Machine Assistant (Isowa take off) position?**
This is a very physical, active role at the end of the machine stacking packages and preparing loads. Some orders are fast-paced and some days we do several different tasks, which means there is downtime between tasks to prepare for the next one, clean the area, etc.
We also have to help wherever needed due to demand.

**Training Opportunity**:
If needed, we may train you later on the machine feeding and some set-up parts and we will show some functions of other machines.

**Profile**:

- Physically fit.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- Take initiative, be autonomous.
- Fluent with basic measurement devices in Metric/Imperial and conversion capabilities
- Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude
- Must be organized, detail and quality oriented

**Responsibilities**:
1. Set up production equipment
2. Feed corrugated sheets into equipment
3. Unitize loads at end of machine
5. Prepare, clean and return tooling/print plates to and from storage
6. Strip scrap from boxes
7. Bale scrap / Sweep / Housekeeping / Keep a clean safe working area
8. Palletize / Unitize product
9. Complete all required documentation
10. Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor

**Working Conditions**: The position requires continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, work around machinery.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.01 per hour
