**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities Include but are not limited to**:

- Tour presentations to guests daily
- Leading tour groups each tour from 2-60 guests to introduce them to the local beer, wine, city highlights, food scene, and attractions such as Butchart Gardens or Craigdarroch Castle
- Staying on schedule
- Positive promotion of our local venue partners
- Staying plugged into the BC craft beer and wine market to take advantage of collaboration projects
- Van and mini bus staging, receipt submission when necessary, some customer coordination

The position is part-time with the bulk of tours occurring in the spring, summer and early fall

Guide compensation is $24+ gratuity

Average gratuity is $50-$200 per tour Gratuities are additional to the wage.

Previous experience in the beer or wine industry or restaurant experience an asset.

The expectation is that tour guides run 1-3 tours/week (can be more depending on season).

The Tour Leaders who get the most reviews will naturally get tours with the best tips.

This fast growing company is looking for positive, knowledgeable and responsible individuals to continue to provide top level customer service to help push and sustain their growth through 2024.

Guide performance is measured by customer service scores, social reviews, referral achievements, task achievements, cost control on tours, and leadership on tour.

- If you do not possess a Class 4, 2 or 1 BC Driver's License, how long have you had a Class 5 license for? To obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted license in BC, you must have had a valid Canadian Class 5 or equal license for more than 2 years with no points or accidents.

**Experience**:

- Local Wines, Craft Beer Industry: 5 years (required)
- Tour Guide: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 4 Unrestricted Class 2 (preferred)
- BC DL Class 5 for 2+ years (preferred)
