Toonie Tours is a fun, customer, and quality-focused tour company that welcomes and connects customers to Canada through tours and experiences. Founded in 2018 by three good friends, Toonie Tours has become a 5-star rated tour company by putting the customer first and delivering genuinely down-to-earth tours and experiences.

Toonie Tours is currently looking for Free Walking Tour Guides to join our team and represent their local community. As restrictions in Canada begin to ease, Toonie Tours is preparing to welcome more customers from abroad and out of town.

Toonie Tours embraces a performance-based compensation model to keep Tour Guides at the top of their game. We are looking for people who love Canada and know all about their communities

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Creative - Learn, research, design, and personalize tours and stories to be authentically presented.
- Leadership - Meet, welcome, and lead tour groups of 10-25 customers.
- Customer-Service - Provide local recommendations and tips for out-of-town travelers, and customers less familiar with your community.
- Be the local Toonie Tours Expert - Represent Toonie Tours, your community, and tour guides in general to the public. You are actively involved in your community and have that wanderlust spirit.
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

**Key Attributes**
- Communicative and Social - Strong verbal communication skills, ability to present and speak loudly, personable, and approachable. We are looking for fluent English-speaking Tour Leaders and welcome additional languages to join our offerings.
- Entertaining and Positive - Exception story-telling skills, capture the attention of the group, and has a great sense of humor.
- Self-driven / Self-starter / High Performer - Works well in a performance-based compensation model. Is recommendable and commands 5-star reviews.
- Flexible & Confident - Adapts well to varying circumstances as the group needs change with the always-changing outdoor environment.
- Punctual - shows up early for every tour, without fail.
- Physically fit (can manage 5 km of walking in 2.5hrs, while speaking and presenting)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$80.00 per hour
