**Job Summary**:
The Digital Campaigns & Content Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the digital and content strategy for Halton Region, aligning efforts with business objectives, fostering team collaboration, and driving growth through data-driven decisions and comprehensive digital campaigns and creative execution.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Digital Campaigns & Content Leadership**
- Develop the Plan: Design and implement Halton Region’s digital campaign strategy, including key objectives, priorities, and performance metrics. This includes managing complex, multi-channel digital marketing campaigns and ensuring cohesive content strategies across all platforms.
- Lead Data-Driven Campaigns: Leverage audience insights, analytics, and industry trends to create integrated, large-scale digital campaigns that resonate with target segments and drive engagement.
- Oversee Content Creation: Ensure the creation of compelling, on-brand visual and written content that resonates with the target audience and drives consistent messaging across platforms.
**Team Leadership & Development**
- Mentor and Empower: Inspire and guide digital professionals to support their growth.
- Promote Collaboration: Cultivate a collaborative culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Encourage Learning: Foster continuous learning to adapt to market changes.
**Cross-Functional & Leadership Collaboration**
- Collaborate Across Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to ensure digital investments drive measurable ROI and align with business objectives and customer data.
- Engage Across the Organization: Actively participate in-person and virtually, representing the digital function and driving alignment.
**Brand & Campaign Development**
- Elevate Our Positioning: Develop compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning to enhance service awareness.
- Oversee Brand and Visual Identity: Ensure the Region’s Visual Identity is routinely evaluated and applied to all communications and digital materials.
**Resource Management & Budgeting**
- Manage Resources: Oversee digital and content planning, staffing, budgeting, and expenses, making data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- A seasoned digital strategy leader with a proven track record of aligning digital and content strategies to business goals in a large and/or publicly facing organization, extensive experience developing and managing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, and overseeing large-scale content creation efforts.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong data-driven decision-maker with deep expertise in digital strategy, content, paid media, and campaign optimization.
- A collaborative leader with a talent for mentoring teams and fostering a high-performance, creative culture.
- Exceptional communicator capable of driving cross-functional initiatives and managing internal and external relationships.
- Strong political acumen, with an ability to quickly interpret policy and programmatic information and effectively communicate its impact on business objectives and digital plans to staff and partners. A leader who fosters a positive work culture, focuses on solutions, and is passionate about making progress.
