Exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator. Ignis Building Solutions and Ignis Technical Solutions is looking for individuals who are comfortable working independently, who can consult, project manage and conduct inspections and Reporting.

We offer Consulting, Technical Solutions and Project Management in the private and public sector, this is an opportunity to grow in a company that is providing a variety of services related to Fire Prevention and Life Safety Consulting, Management Services and Technical Solutions.

**Essential Job Functions**:
Dedicated to customer needs

Comfortable to communicate to team

Manage schedule and priorities while maintaining quality with a busy schedule Project administration

Project administration and management

Attend client meetings and meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction

Travel to client sites

Attend evacuation drills and produce reports

Attend site visits with contractors and clients

Take meeting minutes

Billing for projects - issues certificates of payment

Prepare RFS’s

Proposal preparation

Create and utilize Gantt Charts for project tracking

Prepare CCDC Contracts

Coordinate, and facilitate fire safety training, drills, and exercises Conduct building audits

Sales

PMA Specifications and Tenders

Fire Alarm Project Specifications and Tenders

Manage sub-contractors

Manage accounts for annual inspections and deficiencies

Review Sub-contractor Annual and VI reports and deficiencies and look for opportunities and compliance

Small service quotes, small project quotes and coordination

Prepare Contract documents for projects

Coordinating parts for jobs

Reviewing payable and invoices, RFS’s, job costing

Provide Close Out Documents

Create Building Operator Training

**Qualifications**:
CFAA Certification (Asset but not Required)

Knowledge of fire protection and life safety including familiarity with building/fire/life safety codes, standards, and best practices

Technically oriented; good analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail; able to complete tasks and projects in established timelines

Self-starter that exhibits a high level of initiative and resourcefulness

An individual with high standards who holds themselves accountable Confident and able to speak to large groups and train others Confident, calm decisive

Versatile and able to manage varying workloads A real team player

Ability to establish positive relationships with project team members and clients Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Bilingual in French and English is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
