Red Deer, Canada Collicutt Energy Services Full time

Collicutt Energy Services Corp is currently seeking qualified Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our growing Frac Division based out of our Red Deer Head Office. We are looking for individuals who are ready for the opportunity to grow with the company and with the industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with a modified weekly schedule that will receive every second Friday off.

**Primary Job Functions**:

- Perform internal engine repairs such as bearing rolls, cylinder head replacement, cylinder and piston pack replacement, camshaft replacement, oil cooler and turbo replacements
- Assist with overhaul of engines and help in Accessory Department
- Perform pre and post repair run up testing of customer units
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel and bi-fuel engines
- Troubleshoot and repair transmission and hydraulic issues
- Perform diesel and bi-fuel engine preventative scheduled maintenance
- Develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt and efficient attention to the customer needs
- Repair Equipment in a timely and responsible manner
- Maintain service area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Communicate unresolved issues to Service Manager
- Suggest opportunities and solutions as necessary
- Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety
- Complete required high-quality documentation, such as JSA, service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality control documents
- Mentor, develop and support junior staff and apprentices for future growth and development
- Willingness and ability to work overtime hours when needed
- All other duties as required

**Qualifications and Education requirements**:

- Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable drivers abstract
- Ability to satisfactorily complete drug, alcohol, medical and physical pre-employment testing as it applies to a safety sensitive position
- Current CVIP License, or willingness to obtain, is an asset
- Experience with CAT TH48 and TH55 transmissions is an asset
- Experience with hydraulics is an asset
- Experience working with, and repairing, frac equipment and truck/trailer units is an asset
