CARE Industries is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated **Heavy Equipment Technician Lead **to join our team and become apart of our growing history.

**Position Summary**:
The **Heavy Equipment Technician Lead** will be primarily responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities and tasks for the Management team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily activities throughout shop while completing your own mechanical tasks
- Provide exceptional on-the-job training to journeypersons and apprentices
- Uphold quality and safety system requirements
- Work and coordinate directly with shop foreman to plan upcoming projects and daily activities
- Report to Project Managers on actions & outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes
**Specific Knowledge, Skill & Abilities**:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects
- Ability to Troubleshoot, think outside the box
- High attention to Detail
- Ability to train and lead new hires and current employees to succeed
- Must be able to take and give direction while working efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to follow procedures, inspect work that is being completed while ensuring compliance with Care’s Safety and Regulations
**Requirements**:
- Journeypersons Certificate - as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright
- CVIP License is an asset but not required
- Mechanical experience with oilfield equipment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Air Brakes, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems
- Previous leadership experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $43.00-$49.00 per hour
