This full-time position offers a morning and afternoon shift schedule, no on-call, and alternate Saturday shifts. This AAHA accredited practice maintains the highest standards of animal care. Well equipped, we offer multiple services that include general wellness & preventive care, laser therapy, laboratory services, diagnostic ultrasound, EKG, radiography, soft tissue, orthopedic surgery and more. Near to the Ontario Veterinary College, we have access to many talented specialists. **Responsibilities**:

- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
- Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
- Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
- Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
- Present a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public. Work in a communicative and collaborative fashion that focuses on team success.

**Skills and Basic Qualifications**
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics. Must like birthday cake
