We are a family owned company that has been established for over 41 years and we want you to join our team We have grown and recently expanded into a newer larger facility in the Bridgeview district of Surrey.

The Technical Sales Representative will work directly with the President providing sales and administrative support, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and start your sales career

This is a full time permanent position and we are easily accessible via transit.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

- Reading and interpreting fabrication shop drawings or construction drawings for quoting
- Preparing work orders for production, shipping documents, and invoices
- Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries
- File forms and correspondence while maintaining the filing system
- Some book keeping

The position will then progress to:

- Purchasing raw materials

**Skills**:

- Ability to read Shop or 3-D drawings
- Knowledge of steel grades and steel manufacturing processes are an advantage
- Superior ability to multi-task, prioritizes work, and meets deadlines
- Can communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Punctual, committed, pro-active, self-motivated, and accountable
- Possess a talent to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

- Experience using Simply Accounting (Sage 50) is an asset
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Completion of Secondary School. Post secondary classes are a plus

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
