In 2022, we merged with Shoppers Drug Mart, expanding our network to provide comprehensive, connected healthcare services across the country.
Role Overview: As the Director of Strategy and Enablement, you'll work closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to drive impactful change within the Canadian healthcare system. You'll be at the forefront of developing and executing strategies that align with Lifemark’s goals, ensuring our vision is realized. This role offers a unique opportunity for those transitioning from consulting to an industry position, providing exposure to strategy and operations at the highest level.
Why This Role Matters: In this role, you will oversee Lifemark’s strategic planning and execution process, ensuring timely and effective decision-making across the Executive Leadership Team. You'll lead key initiatives, collaborate with business leaders, and drive projects that are crucial to our company’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Lead the facilitation of strategic planning meetings (annual, quarterly, monthly).
- Develop and align Lifemark’s annual strategic and operating plans.
- Quantify and measure the impacts of strategic initiatives in partnership with the VP Finance.
- Coach the ELT on creating focused, measurable, people-centric objectives that have a clear and measurable impact on the company’s performance.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Collaborate with the Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaws strategy teams for enterprise-level reporting.
- Lead the development of Board-level presentations and reports (i.e. PPT slides, Strategy Memos, Briefing Notes)
- Create monthly and quarterly business review reports for presentation and discussion.
Strategy Enablement
- Support the ELT in scoping new initiatives, guiding business case development, and solving project-related challenges.
- Build communication bridges across divisions and corporate support functions to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
- Plan and execute key leadership meetings and offsites, fostering a culture of continuous learning and strategic growth.
What We’re Looking For:

- University degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy roles within large, fast-paced organizations, preferably in healthcare.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
