We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to lead our commercial kitchen in new product development, improve recipes and quality assure products made by our esteemed bakers and production staff.

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes as well as create new products / recipe development.
- Make from scratch cakes and pastries, decorting with artistic flair, ensuring presentation is visually appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Package baked goods for sale, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure quality of products made and trouble shoot.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning desserts.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably within the bakery industry or restaurant setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various baking methods and equipment used in pastry preparation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
