**RYGIEL **_Supports for Community Living_** is currently recruiting a full-time **Inclusive Living Supervisor**.
**Title: Inclusive Living Supervisor (formerly known as Service Coordinator)**
**Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Non-Union, Perm. Full-Time)**
**Location: Hamilton, ON**
Rygiel Supports for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the community who have a developmental disability, as well as other varying abilities. Our mandate is to enable each person to lead a fulfilled and participatory life within the community.
Rygiel will be embarking on the "Journey to Belonging: Choice and Inclusion." This initiative lays out the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ long-term vision for developmental services in Ontario. Our goal is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities are fully supported to participate in their communities.

The Inclusive Living Supervisor's primary focus is to foster an inclusive, supportive environment that enhances the well-being of the individuals served. This role centers on coordinating and optimizing the delivery of services within Inclusive Living, ensuring that staff are effectively scheduled to provide the best possible care. The Supervisor also plays a crucial role in overseeing the direct support staff, emphasizing the health and safety of both the individuals served and the team.
While focusing on these supports, the Supervisor is also responsible for the financial stewardship of the program. This includes managing budgets, overseeing expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to support the program's operational needs. Working under the guidance of the Inclusive Living Manager, the Supervisor ensures that all activities comply with applicable legislation, funder requirements, and organizational policies and procedures, thereby maintaining high standards of service and financial integrity.
The Inclusive Living Supervisor will work in a manner which effectively models and reinforces RYGIEL’s established Vision, Mission, Values, attitudes and standards of support.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Current Criminal Reference Check - vulnerable sector
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human services or a related discipline.
- Training and/or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention), Conflict Management, Trauma Counselling, Case Management asset.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience in direct care including experience with individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum); experience with implementation of behavioral protocols and treatment plans preferred; previous supervisory experience an asset.
- Working knowledge of administering a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Knowledge of behavioral, developmental services and medical needs (ostomy, feed tubes).
- Proficiency with technology including but not limited to computers including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other software programs needed to produce documents, reports, databases, presentations and communication vehicles for staff training and development.
**WORKING HOURS & WORK ENVIORNMENT**
- **Emergency on-call weekend rotation** (this position is also “on-call” for emergency issues Monday 9am to Friday 5pm)

- to fast-paced office environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Extensive computer and telephone use.
- Travel between locations or to external stakeholders (i.e., funders, employers) may be required.
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License (Class G) and access to a reliable vehicle and insurance is an asset.
- 37.5-hour workweek administered as 150 hours over 4 weeks
- You will be required to perform unannounced check-ins on all types of shifts at least once a month (days, evenings, weekends and overnight)
- Position requires flexible work hours on days, evenings, weekends and overnight.
- Expectation to work in Inclusive Living locations at least 80% of time.
**SENSORY & PHYSICAL EFFORT**
- Moderate demand for focused concentration (i.e., scheduling, budget reconciliation, uploading receipts, data entry).
- Moderate physical demands where no other resources are available (e.g., grocery shopping for program, filling in for front-line staff).

- Works closely with the Inclusive Living Manager to develop and implement program standards that address the psychosocial, cultural, physical and safety needs of individuals served.
- Aids in developing and monitoring the implementation of all individuals’ behavior development, individualized Support plans, daily supports guides, and maintaining accurate documentation.
