**JOB SUMMARY**

We are seeking an experienced **Manager, Human Resources** to join our manufacturing facility in Bradford, Ontario. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the facility, ensuring compliance with labor laws, assisting with employee relations, and supporting the overall HR strategy. This role requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR practices in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines and applicable labor laws.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial employment laws and regulations, including safety regulations specific to manufacturing facilities.
- Manage and coordinate training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Oversee the employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive work culture.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and attendance records.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and implement strategies to improve employee retention, productivity, and overall organizational performance.
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR initiatives, policies, and programs at the facility level.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in employment laws and regulations, and proactively make recommendations to enhance HR processes and practices within the facility.
- Assist in handling employee complaints, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions to Senior Manager, Human Resources resolve issues and maintain a positive work environment, nurturing a strong culture of open communication and trust.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience within Human Resources, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and manage change initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive HR strategies at the facility level.
- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and training and development programs.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while also being hands-on and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
