In this **entry level** role, the **Corporate Trainer** will be responsible for training new staff with respect to all duties and procedures related to the heart of house or front of house, in accordance with the Boston Pizza International training program.you will be trained in all Boston Pizza policies and procedures, including service standards, inventory, ordering, scheduling, and POS software. You will be part of a team of trainers, who will work together to execute hands-on training programs and New Store Openings across the country. When not travelling, all training will occur in a real restaurant atmosphere at our Corporate Training Center in Oakville, ON.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Build the Boston Pizza brand through supporting New Store Openings. Extensive travel required for extended periods of time throughout Canada;
- Assist within training during store renovations and at existing stores that need support throughout Canada;
- Provide training and support to our franchisees, managers, and store level staff in areas such as service, POS software, labour costs, operations, food procedures, food cost, and scheduling;
- Carry out in-depth training with our franchisees at our Corporate Training Centre on how to operate a profitable business.

**Skills Required**:

- Must be available for **extensive travel for extended durations** (_Min of 30 days and up to 90 days at a time_);
- Must have experience in a supervisory role at a casual dining restaurant, either in the Front of House or Heart of House;
- Outgoing personality;
- Comfortable presenting in front of large groups;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to handle challenging situations.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
