Guest Services Agent

Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner and appropriately dressed in business attire.
- Assists guests and owners in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up, as necessary.
- Be aware of all essential aspects of hotel operations.
- Collects payments from customers, ensures daily settlements are balanced.
- Monitors lobby and check-in activity including cleaning and tidying up lobby area
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
- Works with all departments closely to ensure guest safety, fulfills requests and coordinates with departments and managers special requests and report any activity.
- Staff will be trained for all shifts including audit shifts and expected to help out when needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette and listening abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying and extended shifts.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Attention to detail to ensure proper billing/payments/charges/reservations/relay of information etc.
- A willingness to learn and help where needed is a major asset.
- Dealing with guest complaints effectively in solving guests needs.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, some heavy lifting with standing and bending at times.
- Experience as a hotel front desk agent is preferred.
- Experience in SKYTOUCH or Choice advantage preferred

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
