**Brand and Public Relations**:

- Execute Nature’s Path communications and PR campaigns to increase visibility and awareness of the Nature’s Path brand, products, programs, and initiatives including Organic Regenerative agriculture, Eat Well Do Good, Gardens for Good, etc.
- Manage PR agency collaborations to position Nature’s Path as the Organic Leaders in the marketplace. This encompasses activities like product launches, activations, media pitching, partnerships, thought leadership, and editorial coverage in North American markets.
- Consult with organic partners (Canadian Organic Growers, Canadian Organic Trade Association) on activism efforts related to defending and leading organic agriculture into the future (GMO’s, glyphosates, etc).
- Maintain and monitor industry trends and cultural moments in the media to place Nature’s Path in organic leadership discussions.
- Monitor and manage the media inquiry inbox, assess incoming opportunities, conduct initial outreach where applicable and identify next steps

**Project Management and Team Communication**:

- Manage overall communication projects, ensuring the integration of creative assets, copywriting, website updates, social media, and press outreach (through PR agency).
- Manage all communication project timelines, external stakeholders, budgets, vendors and KPIs.
- Provide monthly recommendations to the internal communications team on significant developments in the organic sector to be communicated internally.
- Support monthly audits of PR activities and projects, measuring success against budgets, deadlines, and KPIs. Identify and act on areas of improvement.
- Working cross-departmentally (brand management, content, creative, mission and strategy, sales, etc.) to ensure Nature’s Path’s communication campaigns, partnerships, accomplishments, and thought leadership are being shared and leveraged across appropriate channels.

**Events and Executive Reporting**:

- Organize and execute in partnership with our PR agency large-scale brand, industry, and media/influencer events, activations, and guerrilla marketing stunts with a focus on product launches, ethical endeavors, and sales growth.
- Assist the Social Media Team in brainstorming content ideas for all Nature’s Path brands.
- Aid the Communications Manager in procuring executive approvals for projects and campaigns. Support internal presentation needs for larger events and provide KPI reports.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to Communications Manager and Director of Marketing Services where required.
- Responsible for updating budgets where applicable.
- Offer support for agency relationships as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Path to Success
- Qualification and Experience**

**Education**
- A degree in communications, business, marketing-related field or English

**Experience**
- 3-5 years in a Communications & PR Specialist/Coordinator role, or equivalent
- Experience in Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) or familiarity with the Organic Industry is an advantage.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work to deadline
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage a variety of projects
