**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting fast paced Sales opportunity for the right self-starter who is able to build customer relationships, sell in a fact-based manor, is data and category driven, and has the ability to engage and influence the community. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing sales and community engagement activities in their assigned territory of Central Ontario. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales.
**Responsibilities**:
- Selling and Influencing:
- Manage all accounts in the assigned territory
- Carry out marketing initiatives to improve customer loyalty
- Diligent administration of records and reporting
- Establish strong partnerships with retailers
- Generate and foster brand awareness
- Effectively lead industry and brand education sessions with key stakeholders
- Conduct in store pop-up’s when required
- Achieve KPI targets on:
- Retailer presence
- In-store promotion
- Product quality standards
- Distribution
- Product placement
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with our retail partners
- Build and develop relationships at all levels including corporate, regional and the store level
- Ensure our retail partners are fluent in SRC’s product lineup
- Planning/Self-Management:
- Manage a budget to drive volume and share growth within acceptable trade practices, according to brand strategy and merchandising guidelines. Monitor and manage sales expenses within the allotted budget
- Generate Sales leads
- Execute all programs within established guidelines
- Execute territory annual plan and commitments
- Manage time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules
- Maintain and accurately track annual sales and consumer budgets on time
- Support community engagement, customer-lead training, and sampling initiatives
- Collaborate with the Provincial Sales Manager in planning sales activities and setting sales goals for assigned districts
**Experience**
- Comfort working in a data driven environment
- Experience in Cannabis, Beverage Alcohol or relatable industries an asset
- 5+ years experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotes and in-store condition KPI’s
- Previous success within a given territory, in growing brand awareness,
- Clean drivers abstract
- Proven track record of working remotely and independently
**Other Details**
Your time will be spent visiting customers, interacting with Mission Control and working remotely
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
