**About the role**:
The Compliance PMO team in Enterprise Compliance is responsible for supporting strategy development, business planning, performance metrics and lead the management of material compliance projects - a priority given the evolution and profile of the Compliance function.

The Project Manager, Compliance PMO, Enterprise Compliance position is accountable for the project management of technology projects based on criteria that align with the vision of the Enterprise Compliance function. The position would support the project planning, communication updates and analysis for all assigned projects. The role will also be a key contributor, and compliance representative on a number of cross business unit, cross-function and cross-platform project initiatives.

**What will you do?**
- Manage all phases of Compliance projects from initiation to closure while leveraging Project Management best practice and standards
- Engage project stakeholders and communicate project updates effectively to ensure buy in and project success (examples: meetings, status updates, issue resolution)
- Work with cross-functional team, setting up and organizing meetings to work with all stakeholders
- Deliver on timelines and documentation needed for each deal, including search and follow up on key due diligence documentation
- Analyze data and information from projects and generates insights and recommendations to inform future improvements
- Assist in the development of various presentations to the executive team
- Drive process improvements and tools, including developing dashboards and/or communication tools to inform cross-functional teams on progress, deliverables, and deadlines

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Over 5 years of Compliance work experience, including 3 years of work experience managing multiple and complex projects and timelines
- PMP certification or equivalent work experience
- Post-secondary education
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, across multiple time zones
- Exceptional project management capabilities with demonstrated experience managing dispersed and indirect resources
- Excellent Reporting skills with an ability to present data in a meaningful way
- Ability to manage and track progress across multiple projects with competing timelines
- Good facilitation and influence skills to direct effective meetings for project teams
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects, excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate and succeed in an abstract and fast changing environment
- Good understanding of the financial services industry and related regulatory regime
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Management framework components and linkages, direct experience in the execution of regulatory compliance projects
- Understanding of consequences of errors in judgement or decision making (which could place SLF at risk or result in significant legal liability and harm to company reputation)
