Aecon’s launching its first ever Estimator Co-op Program. Upon graduation, you could be eligible to take part in our **Field Rotational Estimating **Program. _Picture this:_ shadowing Superintendents, gaining technical prowess, and forming key relationships. You will the opportunity to be a member of our **Estimating Talent Community** - a vibrant community where innovation meets collaboration**.**

**What You'll Do Here**:

- Aid in the estimate creation for bid submission - labour, equipment, material, rentals, and subcontracts.
- Analyze documents, drawings, specifications, proposals, addendums in preparation for pricing.
- Perform any estimate related oral and/or written communications with clients.
- Review the project site prior to price preparation.
- Obtain input from operations staff as appropriate.
- Support the team in preparing quantity take-offs from construction drawings where applicable.
- Research and/or obtain pricing from Suppliers and Subcontractors that can be incorporated into project estimates.
- Maintain estimating data systems to ensure they are kept up to date.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

**What You’ll Bring To The Team**:

- Completed or enrolled in Civil / Construction / Electrical or Business Diploma or Degree Program.
- Demonstrated computer software proficiency
- MS Excel/Word/Project, P6.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents.
- Experience with estimating software and SAP is considered and asset.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
- Capability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to time manage and formulate plans to meet multiple deadlines within a high-pressure work environment.
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
