**Position Summary**
We are seeking a some with a **Business Analytics and Insights **background to deliver our **BA 720 Story-telling Analytic Insights** course. As marketers and entrepreneurs, it’s important to understand how to communicate the story delivered through the data. This course explores how to synthesize and present data to create awareness, understanding and action based in pursuit of business objectives.

1. Comprehend and effectively tell the story in the data.
2. Align the data story to support or reject business objectives.
4. Consider the appropriate graphic tools to create understanding of data.
5. Identify opportunities and threats through an analysis of CREST variables (competitive, regulatory, environment, social/cultural, technology/eCommerce).

**The course is 3-hours per week twice per week. This position has delivery flexibility and can be delivered in-person (preferred), online/synchronous. Preference will be given to those who are willing to deliver in-person.**

**Responsibilities**
- Teach using a variety of strategies to support student-centered learning in an online environment.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication and knowledge of cultural competency in interactions with the public, colleagues, other professionals and students in internal and external educational and practice settings.
- Develop, revise and adapt appropriate learning resources for students.
- Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes using a variety of techniques.
- Engage students to create a positive teaching and learning environment.
- Work in a team-based environment.
- Use academic technology effectively to enhance and support learning.
- Provide and promote a respectful and supportive environment based upon the principles of inclusion, equity and diversity.
- Attend meetings and maintain records of student grades/assessments.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- MBA preferred or Degree in Business Analytics
- Minimum of five years of related industry experience in Business Analytics
- Ability to leverage data to tell compelling stories
- Proven teaching abilities (adult education or post-secondary level) and leadership skills with a commitment to academic excellence and student success is preferred.

Proof of credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post secondary institutions and/or their foreign equivalents will be required at the time of job offer.
