**Location - 555 Richmond Street West**
**(kindly note that we are temporarily operating via a hybrid model of in-office and remote work)**

**Summary - The Position**
Reporting to the Manager, you will work as a member of the YES employment program team you will provide employment counselling with structured client-centered psychotherapeutic care. You will work in partnership with clients, their formal and informal supports and the team to support clients’ successful integration into employment. You will be expected to facilitate individual and group CBT treatment, support to clients currently attending the employment programming.

**Qualifications**
- University Degree and three years of experience in counselling and CBT
- Experience providing, teaching and supervising evidence-based therapies, in particular Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT
- Significant experience with program evaluation
- Qualified to administer and interpret assessment tools
- Thorough knowledge of employability dimensions and intake assessment methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of the target group, labour market information and resources in Toronto for youth and other job seekers
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and team work skills
- Group leadership/curriculum/program development skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills to work with an inter-professional team
- Ability to relate to socially and economically disadvantaged youth
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural/multi-racial workplace
**Specific Duties**
- Provide assessments, case management, individual counselling, group facilitation, information and referrals, and other related services to clients experiencing mental health challenges
- Provide group based and one on one Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT sessions
- Assess the clients’ skills, employment interests and barriers to successful employment to determine employment needs and develop a plan of action identifying level of support
- Provide orientation to YES services and programs and make referrals to other community services as required
- Contact individuals to develop and document an understanding of their health condition and the factors that support or inhibit recovery
- Assess risk and severity with the use of psychometric tests
- Provide any of the following interventions: in-depth assessment, medical management interventions, initiation and coordination of occupational and/or psychological interventions, utilization of specialized resources or consultations
- Communicate proactively with key stakeholders regarding any case management issues that may impact an individual’s treatment plan, the workplace, and return to work planning
- Ensure administrative notes and follow-ups are completed
- Adhere to quality case management protocols while promoting our culture of continuous improvement and mental health development
- Determine need, suitability and readiness for subsidized on-the-job training
- Maintain all required records, statistical data, case files, notes and reports in a timely manner
- Conduct presentations to agencies and the community at large on behalf of YES
- Adhere to and maintain outcomes target as set by YES in employment, education and training and ensure a high quality of customer service
- Attend all staff meetings
- Adheres to all YES policies and procedures and ensures confidentially is maintained on client, personnel, financial and agency matters
- Represents YES at all times in a professional manner
- Participates in regular supervision meetings
- Works cooperatively with other team members
- Carries out any other duties, as required
**Annual Salary**:$58,295.90 OPSEU Bargaining Unit Position. After 6 months - $58,950.84 annually
**Hours of Work**:Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm. Fridays: 9:00am - 4.00pm
