Lanstar is a team of talented and hard working people looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. As a team member, you will be treated as such with the potential of unlimited earning potential, working on your own schedule, impacting growth in multiple companies, owning and managing client relationships, and building meaningful relationships.

The Business Development Representative will work closely with the Head of Growth to support sales growth by generating leads, maintaing contact, and converting leads to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify new business opportunities and strive to maintain strong relationships with customers
- Manage all phases acquiring potential customers including but not limited to lead generation, qualification, outreach, negotiation, meetings, and close.
- Use software and tools to generate leads and maintain an organized lead list
- Initiate contact with decision makers in medium to large sized companies and set up meetings to provide information on Lanstar's services and how we can help our customers grow E-Commerce sales
- You’re not afraid to build and maintain a prospect list and make a cold call. But you also understand the value of networking and making connections.
- You're not afraid to follow up and maintain contact and attempt to close leads that may initially not be interested
- You are willing to learn the business and grow the company over a long term. You are someone who invests time into building and fostering relationships to truly earn new accounts.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record with a strong focus on new business development including cold calling, setting appointments, presenting and meeting with potential customers, pricing, proposals through to 'closing the deal'.
- Sales and account management experience is a strong asset
- Experience working B2B sales is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
- Ability to interface with all required levels at a customer (entry level to senior executive)
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
- High energy and genuine passion for “selling”.
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills required to maintain and update prospect lists

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $2,500.00-$5,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Business development: 1 year (preferred)
- Negotiation: 1 year (preferred)
