**Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently hiring Customer Service/Production Planner Lead **to join our team. This position is based at our Edmonton, CA facility and offers benefits from Day 1.**

**What you’ll do**:
Eaton’s Electrical Sector - Canada is currently seeking 1 Customer Service Lead position in EPC (Edmonton Power Centre) to join our team. This position is based at our Edmonton, AB location.

**Position Overview**:
The Customer Service/Production Planner - lead will be responsible for production planning, coordinating, implementing, and recommending a wide variety of order management activities. They will also manage customer service inquiries for both EPC and CORE products including customer relations, clean order entry, production loading and scheduling, order flow and support product warranty to meet plant customer service objectives.**In this function you will**:

- Coordinates customer needs to plan, develop, and schedule manufacturing workload by coordinating customer needs, orders release, plant backlog, material and engineering requirements, manufacturing capabilities and continuous cycle time improvements.
- Establishes and maintains communication with customers and keeps abreast of customer needs and procedures.
- Monitors, controls, and communicates the status of customer orders and shipping projections to promote plant credibility and maintain on-time performance.
- Administers clean order entry package, order flow, scheduling, shipping, and invoicing while maintaining the proper processing of change notices.
- Prepares and maintains schedules to meet monthly billing objectives.
- Provides commercial / technical guidance to other functions such as marketing, engineering, and materials in desirable formats to support total quality effort of the plant.
- Directs and coordinates meetings with other functions to coordinate efforts, resolve difficulties, and gather data to assure a high level of performance.
- Administers proper customer documentation such as drawings, instruction manuals, descriptive bulletins, and test reports.
- Coordinates and conducts customer visits, inspections, and on-board approvals as required.
- Support resolving product warranty and commercial issues to ensure customer satisfaction and the plant's commitment to total quality.
- Develops accurate customer commitments by coordinating all departments involved.
- Develops alternate solutions to fill customer needs when plant cannot meet original needs.
- Alerts management and other departments to the urgency of the situations.
- Provides technical assistance in resolving product warranty issues.
- Support Plant CI activities, OpA and MESH programs

**Qualifications**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Two (2) years of experience reading and manipulating engineering drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Two (2) years experience managing orders to ensure on-time performance of acknowledgement, drawings, and shipments plus total quality of equipment to meet customer expectations.

**Skills**:
**Position Criteria**:

- Prepares and maintains schedule to meet monthly billing objectives for both EPC and CORE
- Good technical and commercial understanding of products (LVA, MVC, MVD, MVA).
- Excellent computer skills MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
- No relocation benefit will be offered for this position.
